I can't believe I thought I had a $13 bargain on this guy in my auction league:

It may officially be time to be concerned about Minnesota's ace, who now owns a 9.13 ERA, 18/18 K/BB ratio and 1.90 WHIP through five starts and 23 2/3 innings. Don't be surprised if the Twins announce tomorrow they are skipping his next turn through the rotation, or perhaps even that they've "discovered" an injury that necessitates a trip to the disabled list.

Might be time to take a look at Bartolo Colon in all formats; he was consistently hitting 95 on the gun in the 8th inning tonight. It's still early but he has a sub-3 xFIP and has looked excellent so far.

Wow. I can't remember seeing him like that since he was in Cleveland or with the Angels. His ball was moving great. I feel proud of him, especially after knowing all the arm issues that he has gone through. Buehrle was good tonight, but Colon was better.

Tex's shoulder shouldn't be an issue; he's day to day.

Interesting pitching matchups: Morrow vs Ogando, Pineda vs. Penny....call it a hunch but I'd sit Ogando.

Buy Low: Yovani Gallardo. He's usually a slow starter and none of his pitches seem to be acting any differently.

I didn't have the sac to pick up Penny. Went with Baker in Game 2 against Niemann and TB today instead. Based on how my week, and basically year, have gone, you can expect Tampa to win that game 10 - 0.
