Offered. Gio Gonzalez and Jordan Walden for Justin Verlander

I am in a non keeper 10 team 10 category Roto league. I am new to fantasy baseball and i am currently getting demolished in saves and i am desperately looking for closer help. But is it worth giving up Verlander for Walden and Gonzalez? I have Heath bell and Joel Hanarhan as my closers right now but I am already 15 saves off the lead and would like to not begin to catch up.

I wouldn't do it. Gio is ok, Walden might not even be the closer for that long. Verlander is top 10-12 pitcher. Hang onto him. Who is out there on the waiver wire for closers?

All 3 are on my team. Don't do it though. I really like Gio, but agreed Verlander is a couple tiers above. If it was Gio+a first tier closer then yes, but not for Walden. Definitely not!

Thanks for the help. The waiver wire is empty only guy there with saves in Brandon League but he is a temporary closer right?

what about santos from the white sox? Another name to check is Boggs from Saint Louis but he is probably long gone.

I wouldn't trade Verlander for that.

Grab League - he's temporary, but Aardsma hasn't looked good on his rehab, so the M's will be taking it slow with him.
