Quick and easy: which hurt OF to drop? WHIR!!

Postby woowoo crew » Wed Apr 27, 2011 10:27 pm

I only have on D/L spot and only 3 total bench spots, so I can't hang onto to both of these D/L guys. Which to drop?

Delmon Young (just placed on D/L today)
Logan Morrison (should be coming off D/L soon)

I'm thinking I could pick Young back up in a week or so, as I still think he's going to have a good year, so I'm leaning towards dropping him. What do you think??

Yeah I'd drop Young and take another stab at him in a few weeks if you have someone worth dropping.

I would tend to agree on Young, especially with the way that team is playing offensively right now, its not pretty, and so people may shy away from taking a chance at picking him up on the DL and so he definitely may still be available. And Logan Morrison was tearing it up before his DL stint so it may be better to stick it out with him. BUT I will say this, I still know some people who think Delmon is going to have a very good year, so maybe try to get an idea of where your competition stands on him and go from there! Hope this helps! But again, I would still probably go with dropping Young because if Morrison's coming back soon then people would be more quick to jump on him. And thanks for the help on mine, appreciate it!! :-)

I would say hang on to morrison, he has legit mlb power and drives the ball (look at the number of doubles) Once hanley gets going Morrison will have more opportunities for RBI. Young will probably still be there, stick with Morrison

Definitely hang onto Morrison. I think Delmon will turn it around eventually too, but you're right that you may have a shot at him again. I wouldn't get rid of Morrison.

Help?

Hang onto LoMo. He has that buzz about him that would make for a popular stashing whereas ppl may not jump at Delmon and u could revisit him later.

Definitely hold on to LoMo with his approaching activation. With Young just going on the DL, he may clear waivers and give you an opportunity to grab him once Morrison is activated.
