Should I deal Gordon for Ellsbury? Also considering Tabata for Zobrist? Thought? Thanks! WHIR

I would hang onto Ellsbury. Gordon hasn't hit over .260 in a full major league season and I think his ceiling this year is:

270 Avg
20 HRs
80 RBIs

Now if you are in dire need of 3B help (if he is in fact eligible at that position in your league), then maybe consider it if you're really bearish on Ellsbury.

But my take on Ellsbury (if he stays healthy and can get over 600 PAs) is about the same BA as Gordon with:

12 HRs
65 RBIs
40 steals (being very conservative there)

I'd rather have Ellsbury given those projections.

I like the potential of Ellsbury over Gordon. KC is off to a hot start this year but its doubtful they keep it up...knowing KC. Once the Red Sox's offense starts clicking, Ellsbury will be a stronger provider than Gordon. From your lineup it appears you need SBs because no one on there other than probably Tabata will get you a sufficient amount of SBs, and Ellsbury will definitely be strong provider of SBs.

Help?

Do you think I should trade Tabata for Zobrist in my OF too?

Trading Gordon for Ellsbury is a very easy YES. Gordon may break out and be great ... but you'd be happy if he ended up with a season like Ellsbury will have. Might as well save the gamble and get Ellsbury outright.
