I can get Cano!! But... WHIR

In my 12 team 5x5 non-keeper roto league I was just offered the following trade:

I get: Robinson Cano and Edwin Jackson

I give: Nelson Cruz and Carlos Marmol

My team looks like this as of now:

P- Scherzer
Bn- Lilly
Bn- De La Rosa
Bn- Morrow

What do you guys think of the trade? I've been a Cruz owner now for the 3rd straight year so I know all about his injuries and such. I feel as though Cano could come close to the power I'd lose by trading away Cruz and then I could plug in Corey Hart into my lineup.

What do you guys think? Oh, also, would I be better off trying to trade Marmol or Soria? Leave a link and ill help you guys

I like Marmol long term over Soria. I also like your logic about making up at least some of the power you lose with Cano. Obviously Cano is the best player in the deal, and I also like Jackson. And your going to get Zimmerman back eventually which will help you again in the power department.

WIth Hanrahan and Boggs on your bench I think you will not lose too much in the saves department.

I like the deal and would definitely pull the trigger. I would try to swap Soria and Marmol.

Marmol and Soria is a toss up to me, and you will still have 3 closers, so losing one of them won't be too detrimental. I like this deal for you value-wise, and you get to cut loose Figgins. Gotta take this deal.

Yeah I really like both Marmol and Soria. I like Marmol bc of the amount of K's he can rack up and with KC winning more this year hopefully that means more Save Opps for Soria

If this league has an innings cap keep marmol if not i think they are pretty close.. other then that its a good trade for you figgins is poo poo and getting him out of your line up will help tremendously.

I'd definitely go with this one. Cano's a beast and I don't think you'd have too much of a drop in Saves either. Pull the trigger!

We settled on Nelson Cruz and Carlos Marmol for Robinson Cano and Matt Garza. I guess we kind of met halfway, he got Marmol, who he wanted, and I got Garza, who I wanted.

Still a good deal though right?
