Looks like (only can see stats and pbp) Franklin, Miller, and Salas all were pretty mediocre in the 8th for St. Louis, creating a save opp now for whoever comes in the 9th (guessing Boggs?). From the pbp, Franklin gave up a double and single, before being replaced by Miller, who walked Bourn. He was replaced by Salas, who gave up a run on a fielders choice, then a single to score another run (both counted against Miller), got a strikeout, then Another single giving up a run (counted against Salas), before getting the 3rd out.
My pitching couldn't possibly be any worse right now... Oswalt, Liriano, Latos, Lewis, Boggs, Putz, Perez... 0 - 5 with an ERA just a shade over 9 for the week
Wasn't paying attention, but Sanchez came in the 9th for the Cardinals, gave up a single, triple, and double. 2 runs (one on the triple, one on a sac fly), got 2 Ks. Still got the save though.

Pretty hardcore Dirty Fuentes. I don't think this threatened Boggs much.. but I don't know why Boggs didn't come in for the save opp.. maybe just becasue he's been pitching alot lately..
