Drop Posada for Avila? WHIR,LL

Postby KaPluie » Tue Apr 26, 2011 5:28 pm

Does it make any sense to drop Posada for Avila?? Posada is giving me over-the-hill numbers right now, and Avila is producing up-and-coming-youngster numbers. Does it make any sense to drop Posada? Or is that just crazy. Will help in return, leave link.

Thats a tough one because Posado is reliable except for the fact he will make trips to the DL, but at the same time he seems to be very consistent. If the up and comer is going to keep up the pace then I might go for him if its keeper league. Youth can always get better too, but I dont think I would drop Posada, unless there is a chance this other guy will get grabbed. Like I said a tough one, hope this advice helps a little

Dropping Posada may not be a bad idea. He's an injury risk and on the downside anyway. Might not be able to get a better catcher later if you pass on this one.
