I need to drop someone so I can start Young, as he is off the DL and is starting against Nats today. I’m leaning towards dropping Boesch or Herrera, even though I like both of them. I aslo know that whoever I drop, every other member in the league will want. I tried doing a two for one but It didn't work.

I was thinking of dropping Avila too, but If he continues playing like he is now It could be a huge mistake. as for Herrera and Boesch I think they are both gonna have big seasons but I have to drop someone. should I drop League??? Or will he still be the closer when Ardsma comes back, he has played well thus far?
I really dont know what to do, should I maybe keep Young on the DL till tmrw and try one more time to do a 2 for 1? This means I would miss his game today but I wouldnt lose someone for nothing.
Here's my thinkin, I also wouldn't carry 3 catchers and if you're worried about dropping Avila (which I can understand if he can keep this up) then I would drop Arencibia. I had him earlier and dropped him, and I definitely don't think you would be losing as much. If you want an opinion between Herrera and Boesch, I'd probably tend to drop Herrera more times than Boesch...I think Boesch is going to produce more in the long run...also if you want to try a 2 for 1 thats really not a bad option, but what if you still can't pull one off, tough call...but if you want to start Young tonight then I'd say 1.) Arencibia 2.) Avila or Herrera. Good luck!! and thanks for the help with mine earlier!
thanks and np. I think I'm gonna try and package Herrera and Arencibia for someone. A lot of people in my league are high on both so I think I can get a deal done. I think Arencibia has the most potential out of all three of my catchers but if i can get value for him ill trade him.
Any ideas who I could get for those 2? I'd prefer a closer or 2nd baseman.
It really depends on how people value them. You said that people are high on them so I'd shoot for a mid-level closer and see what you get. You might end up having to settle for a lower-tier option. Still, I would not be unhappy moving those 2 for someone like Boggs or Walden. Sure, they aren't 100% proven yet but both have great stuff and should keep the role as long as they don't completely screw the pooch.
Yeah thats a good point, it depends on how much value the trade partner has on Arencibia, especially if you want a closer...I definitely think Arencibia has a lot of potential; you don't want to deal Avila though right? Cuz again, I think 3 C is a little too excessive, but again it all depends on who you value...I would deifnitely shoot for someone like a Boggs or a Walden or a Madson, someone who can provide you with a lot of saves based on close games played by the teams. But yeah I would decide which catcher you are more willing to lose and go from there and find out who values him the most to get the MAX return on him (along with Herrera)
I have both Madson and Boggs ( I got both of them from the waiver wire; I dropped Cecil and Brian Sanchez). I'm sure I can get walden for those 2, but I was thinking of getting a little more value. Who would be a good 2nd baseman? I have Infante who is ok, but nothing special.
