I think that's a bit too much for Rios, especially since Rios is not hitting. I actually prefer Tabata to Rios as an overall player for the remainder of the season anyways.

I actually like this deal. Good buy low for Rios... doesn't matter what he's done so far, only matters what he'll do. Your rotation is pretty good as is, plus you free up a roster spot. This isn't a steal, and it could backfire, but I'd take the risk.
