Parra continues to be hot, 9 hits in the last 6 games (just got an RBI double). Daniel Hudson now with a 2-RBI Double to make it 3-1 with 2 outs in the 2nd.

D-Backs now have 5 runs on Oswalt, 1 more and get some free tacos tomorrow (well you have to buy a drink, so not "free" but you still save). Ryan Roberts has 14 RBIs on the year now 8-o.

Oswalt out of the game after only 3 innings: 3ip, 6H, 5ER, 1BB, 0K, only threw 57 pitches :-?

from yahoo via Rotowire (apparently)
With McCann resting Tuesday, he should be available to catch Wednesday's matinee as the Braves seldom use him for both games when a day game follows a night one.

I think it is because they went 13 innings last night and he caught the entire way.

From rotoworld:
Brian McCann is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Padres.
We're assuming this is just a day off for McCann after he caught 13 innings Monday, though it is interesting that he is sitting against a right-hander. David Ross will start behind the plate and bat eighth against Aaron Harang.

I know they said they want to be sure not to sit Chipper and McCann on the same game. So i suspect McCann will get some creative days off this year rather than just the day game after a night game. And it worked, Ross hit a HR for them!

This guy is absolutely killing me.
