How important is it to match your opponents 2 start weeks?

For instance, I have delarosa, sabathia, jiminez, chacin, jonathan sanchez, latos, narveson, marcum. and daniel hudson.

i started sabathia, jiminez, narveson, daniel hudson, and marcum because my opponent is starting garza, aj burnett, and gavin floyd - all 2 starters for this week, plus has zambrano in a relief pitcher slot. and i felt the need to match them with narveson and the lately unreliable daniel hudson. just wanted your guys take on do you usually focus on matching your opponents 2 start pitchers - or do you just focus on your best matchups possible and best pitchers.

In a category (5x5) league, I think you want to start your best pitchers based on ability and matchups, period. 2-start guys have the potential to bump up your K's, but they can also kill your WHIP and ERA if you're not careful. On balance, it's typically not worth chasing the extra starts.

In a points league, I think you've got a tier of "must start" guys (more or less equivalent to the "Wandy Line" that Matthew Berry over at ESPN has been talking about). On your team, we're talking about Sabathia, Jiminez, and possibly Sanchez. Beyond that, you want to maximize your starts unless you're staring at 2 bad matchups.
