Did you guys see the new welcome back program? Any suggestions on which free games are worth the download?

I downloaded WipeOut and InFamous. Was going to go with Little Big Planet but it just seems so juvinile to me. Haven't played either yet (got drunk passed out after game 3 of the NBA Finalz).

There were some other goodies being offered - One of which was 100 free virtual items? Wut's a vurtual item? That could mean virtually anything.

I took inFamous and the zombie game. I've played InFamous twice and it's not bad. The zombie one is just garbage. Totally crap and not worth the hd space. As soon as I figure out how to erase games it's gone.

They didn't give me the free games because I wasn't a member before the outage. Oh well, I already had Little Big Planet (which is not really a kiddie game, it's a solid platformer, great for coop play) and the other games didn't really interest me.

LBP is pretty awesome actually. Unfortunately for me, I already own 3 of the 5 games. So that means I have to choose Wipeout and Super Stardust. Not sure I'm even going to bother.

The virtual items are to decorate your virtual house in playstation@home. Something I have yet to learn the point of.

Went with inFamous and Super Stardust HD here. Haven't tried inFamous yet, but SSHD is kind of a cool time waster (really small and short game, but kinda fun and glad I picked that over Dead Nation after reading how many of you didn't like that one. :-o

).

inFamous actually turned out to be a really good game. So good in fact that I'm going to shell out the $60 for inFamous 2. The free promotion worked on me.
