I think it's pretty silly that people are asking for compensation though when PSN is a free service and it's not working because of a hack which now they are trying to fix so it won't happen again.

I've been waiting to Play the Portal 2 co-op since this outage, it sucks. Although there isn't a yearly fee, PSN is kinda part of the total package that you are paying for when you buy a PS3 in my estimation.
