Dynasty Trade - Howard and Pap for Hanson and Reyes

In a 20 team dynasty league that counts holds and OPS would you trade Ryan Howard and Papelbon for Tommy Hanson and Jose Reyes.

Pitching is probably my strength since I already have Weaver, Lester, and Oswalt and was able to draft Pineda, but Howard is technically getting up there already and I was looking to get a bit younger since my team was near the bottom last year and I'm looking to the future.

We have super starting deep rosters and its H2H.

Who would you plug in a 1B?

I will start by saying I haven't done a Dynasty league so I'm not sure how much that impacts my input. But I'm torn on this. I think losing Howard is a big hit to your offense currently. I'm assuming you'd go with Sanchez at 1B, who I like, but Howard is clearly the far better option. It is a big upgrade at SS however. I agree that pitching is your strength, so I'm just not sure if I would go after more pitching, rather than try to balance out, unless you're targeting certain stats. Down the road however, I do think Hanson and Reyes is the more valuable side of the trade. So if building for the future I'd say make the trade

With the lack of quality young options at SS I certainly would do this deal. Plus Hanson is a certified stud in the making.

Who would you plug in a 1B?

Yeah, Sanchez as was mentioned below. My team's batting average has been pretty poor so far (minus last week), so I've mostly been trying to capitalize on the counting stats through my roster flexibility. My multi-positional players have helped with games played.

One reason I'm looking to get some pitching is that Roy Oswalt it so old and Vazquez and Burnett are almost unstartable for me unless I need wins. Their efficiency stats suck. I'm thinking I might be able to move Oswalt later this year for a younger player or two, while still staying competitive. This league really focuses on youth, which I think you can technically capitalize on since some guys are planning too far ahead.

Just for examples sake, Starlin Castro was traded for Volquez, Josh Johnson, and Alcides Escobar,
