Garner dropped, should I pick up? 100% WHIR,LL (leave link)

Garner could be a good option for me. I have limited speed, while Garner stole 40+ last year. Plus he should in theory get a lot of run in the Yankee lineup. Of course, he has been crud so far this season. What do you think? An improvement? I'd probably drop Gomes or Abreu.

I'd drop Gomes for him. Too much SB potential to leave Gardner on the WW.

i'm about to drop Gomes in my league as well, just looking for the right guy. I'd do that, especially if you need SB.

I just picked up Gardner after he was dropped. I'd probably drop Gomes for him and hope for both of us that he turns it on soon!

I also saw the Gardner was dropped in my league and was thinking I need to pick him up. I'm having a similar problem with who should I drop. Would you drop Omar Infante or Gomes?

Either of those guys are droppable for Gardner. I mean if you're actually starting Infante because of an injury, hold off, but if he's on your bench as a super-utility guy he's not doing you much good. The SB and Run potential of Gardner is too good to miss - grab him.

I dropped Gomes for J. Garland (I needed more arms). Gomes strikes out way too much for my liking. He's Adam Dunn revisited with more speed. Then again, he gets caught stealing also.

If my OF didn't consist of Werth, Hart and Ichiro, I'd own Gardner right now.

Grab Gardner.

Definitely grab him. He has nowhere to go but up, while Gomes has nowhere to go but down. I'm not big on Abreu either, but that's up to you. I've been trying to pry Gardner away from another owner in my league, so a free grab is great.

Thanks for the help, I think I'll drop INfante. I've been holding on to him because I've been balancing between 3-5 guys all season on the DL...... Hopefully that will now start to change !
