Analyze and Trading for Robinson Cano

Postby etl1692 » Mon Apr 25, 2011 12:56 am

I am trying to build up my batting a little more and think that I can definitely spare a pitcher. I think Cano is definitely the way to go. Let me know what you think.

My Team:
J.P. Arencibia C
Justin Morneau 1B
Omar Infante 2nd
Juan Uribe 3rd
Elvis Andrus SS
Matt Kemp OF
Andre Ethier OF
Alfonso Soriano OF
Gaby Sanchez UT
Sam Fuld UT
Nick Swisher BN
Miguel MOntero BN
Ben Fransico BN
Mark Reynolds BN

Pitching:
C.C. Sabathia SP
Tim Lincecum SP
Cliff Lee SP
Jhoulys Chacin SP
Aaron Harang SP
Jose Valverde RP
Huston Street RP
Rafael Soriano RP
Zack Grenkie DL

So Im Thinking Cliff Lee and Juan Uribe for Robinson Cano. With Grenkie coming back off the DL I dont see why I cant trade either Lee or Lincecum for a strong hitter.
1.) How is my team ranked would you say?
2.) Where does my team need a little help?
3.)Is this a fair trade?
4.) Should I just keep my dominating Pitching Staff?
4.) Instead of Cano who would fit my team well and get the job done?

Cheers!

I doubt you could get that trade to click, one ace starters numbers really aren't that different from another ace.

Maybe look for a dustin pedroia for chachin, cano is too hot.

Wow you really dont think so huh. What if it was Cliff Lee and Morneau for Cano or is that just too much and not worth it? Gaby Sanchez is a very decent 1st baseman to take morneau spot.

If you really want Cano...would trading a SP plus Reynolds help?
