Hey all. I found this site as I was doing some last-minute draft prep; it's great--wish I would have known about it sooner.

Anyway, I just had my 5x5 12 Team non-keeper Yahoo roto draft. I really like my team, but I'd like to get some opinions.

I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.

Looks very solid.

My only thought is that Brian Lawrence has been absolutely pounded in every start this spring and I think he's going to have a terrible year. I'd look to replace him.

Just stay active and keep trying to improve through waivers or trades

May want to consider packaging a couple of your SP's for a better one - a number 2 guy in a rotation maybe? Keep Oswalt - deal any of the others.

Looks solid for a 12 team league. Nice balance. If I had one negative to say it would be that it looks like some of your pitchers are a little on the sketchy side. Along with Sweeney, I would say there is a strong liklihood that you might have to deal with more than your fair share of headaches this year. A sidenote: I would find it shocking that there wasn't a better option than Lawrence on your waiver wire.

D. Dreifort
K. Ainsworth
C. Carpenter

That's about it. Not much to choose from. I think I'm going to hold on to Lawrence for a while, but I'm definitely going to drop Sanchez and look to pick up one of these pitchers. Any suggestions as to who?

Thanks.

is J. Affeldt still available? He's seems to be getting overlooked by alot of people this year. He seems to be over his blister problems and he has great stuff. And I would drop Lawrence over Sanchez. At lease Sanchez can get you some steals. Lawrence's velocity is way down and he's getting pounded. The only thing he'll give you is losses I'm afraid. If Affeldt is not available then I'd grab Alvarez, Lackey, Ainsworth or Ohka.

If you drop Sanchez, where are you gonna get your steals from? Or are you just punting? I might take a flyer on Carpenter.

I think your saves situation could be in trouble. Isringhausen is an injury liability, Nathan is far from a sure thing for the whole season, and Kolb could easily be involved in a closer carousel.

Obviously being in a 5x5 makes it less important than a 4x4, but you should still look into improving that area.
