Avila/Granderson for J.P. Arencibia/Chapman

Postby Cowabungadude » Sun Apr 24, 2011 1:12 pm

So I was offered Avila and Granderson for Arebcicia and Chapman. Both closers and catchers are extremely thin in this league. Is Arebicia that much better than Avila? I think the fact that this league counts OPS means he is. Should I pounce on Granderson? Hank Conger is also available as a free agent. I kind of feel like if I'm going to trade Chapman, I should use him to get some SP. Should I just stick with Maybin?

Also in a completely separate trade with this guy, I might be able to do Drew, CarGo, and Chapman for HanRam and Granderson.

Thanks Guys!

I would totally take it.

Chapman is good, but until he gets his control a little better, will remain mostly a setup guy. Arencibia has the potential, but we haven't seen it yet.

Avila isn't going anywhere and Granderson will have better stats than last year.

I would hold on to Drew. He's poising himself to have a terrific year.

Pull the trade for Avila and Granderson with no regrets, especially when playing @ Yankee Stadium. ;-D
