Werth/Carlos Lee Trade WHIR

Hey guys,

I offered this manager my Brandon Phillips + Matt Garza for his Robinson Cano. He declined and I pushed harder (offering Scherzer), but at the end of the day he didn't want to move Cano. I'm in the market to upgrade my lineup a little bit so I've sent some feelers out. I was just offered the following trade:

I receive: Jason Werth
I send: Carlos Lee + Kyle Farnsworth

The WW is pretty slim as far as closers go. The only guy with two saves on the wire is Lindstrom. Jake McGee is available too, but Farnsworth looks like it is his job for the long haul. I think this is a good time to buy low on Werth, but this would leave me with just Broxton/Burnett/Franklin/Motte in the pen which could mean I'm down to only one guy getting regular save opps. What do you guys think? My roster's below, leave a link.

I think Werth is a significant enough upgrade from Lee for it to be worth it. There will be closers that arrive midseason. I agree it'll put you in a bit of a hole in saves, but you've got a whole season to work on catching up there, where it'd be much more difficult to add someone of Werth's value from a waiver addition unless you're in a league with very trigger-happy managers.
