I was offered Hayward for my Castro straight up. What do you guys think? Castro is tearing it up, at a shallow position. The only other option I have at SS is Tejada. Offensive Categories: H, HR, AVG, RBI, R, OBP, SB, CS, TB MY SS: Castro, Tejada MY OF: Bruce, C. Young, Soriano, Hamilton (DL) Top Ranked SS on Waiver Wire: Bloomquist, A. Sanchez, Theriot, Peralta, Escobar Any opinions appreciated. Leave a link

Agreed... you gotta take this deal. No brainer imo. You're increasing the value of your team too much to decline this offer because of losing Castro, who has been a viable SS so far. I wouldn't hesitate to make this deal at all and would possibly check out the fa for a better option than Tejada.

Do the trade. Escobar is a great pickup on the w/w if you need a SS.

I forgot to put first initial. It's Alcedes, not Yuniel.... I'm assuming you were refering to Yuniel as being a good pickup.

Damn! I like Yunel, but I'd take Tejada over Alcedes.
Help a brother out, please!

This is a prototypical sell high, buy low deal. I would definitely take it. Castro cannot keep this pace up, and Heyward is going to have a very good season.
