My pitching has been horrible ... easily the worst in the league. On the flip side, my offense has been one of the best in the league. Unfortunately, for a lot of the pitchers on my team that are struggling (i.e. Hughes and Liriano), I just have to wait it out and hope they improve since I can't just drop them, and they are pretty untradeable right now. My question is, do you see an improvement I could make in my staff from the wire? Any help would be appreciated, and WHIR, leave a link! These are some available pitchers with some sense of upside:

Your Starting Pitching isn't quite as bad as you make it out to be. C.Hamels had a nice outing his last start and J. De La Rosa has been decent.

That being said...you could still use some help.

I would RUN and pick-up Dice K. His last 2 starts have been dominating. RUN! His start tonight @ Anaheim was brilliant.

A.Crow is one of the best set-up men.

I have both of the aforementioned pitchers on my team.

Ok. I would drop Harrison, C. Richards and E. Jackson and grab McCarthy, Tomlin, and Dice-K. Take a look @ the weekly starts and see who makes sense for you.

I wouldn't drop Harrison. He's been awesome so far this year! Why drop him?

Dice-K may end up being a decent SP. He looked really good tonight. I don't think he is going to post outstanding stats or anything, but should beat Richard in Wins/K. Slight advantage to Richards in ERA and bigger in WHIP. QS should be even, but BOS has better defense.

Yes...I do.

That is why I picked him up.

Dice-K has always had great pitching talent. Remember how much the Red Sox paid for him to lure him from Japan?

His last 2 starts versus solid offensive teams have been outstanding.

He is a Free Agent. It's not like you are risking a ton to get him.

If he keeps pitching well...you got a front-line starter for free...if not...drop him and pick up another guy.

I'm riding the Freddy Garcia bandwagon here...at the VERY least he'll get his share of wins with that offense backing him.
