I was presented with a blockbuster of sorts in one of my dynasty leagues yesterday. The offensive cats in the league are: R, BB, RBI, TB, HR, OBP, SB, AVG
I give: Cano, Youk, Laroche, Hamels
I get: Uggla, Billy Butler, David Wright, Hudson
I know I give the best player, but i get decent enough depth and I can't stand Laroche. Seems like I'm buying somewhat high on Butler, and selling Youk low. Any opinions are appreciated, and if you'd like help in return, please leave a link and I will respond in a timely matter.
wrong deal for you man i know laroach is so annoying its unreal esspecially because some people drafted other positions thinking he was gonna be "sleeper alert" and i know hes horrible in the first half and always 5x better second half but i understand its annoying but youks just heating up hold off on that you had to ride him through a pretty cold first 2 weeks see what happens uggla is terrifying his owners anything other than a 4-4 day 3 homeruns his owners are gonna be angry for a while so the deal for him will be open for a minute
thanks for the help on mine. i don't like this for you. Laroche is the worst but the downgrade at two other positions for a decent upgrade at first isn't worth it. i do consider Wright and Youk basically equal, Youk gives you better OBP, Wright with SBs.
I wouldn't do this trade...Hamels has been really heating up lately. Youkilis is a very consistent producer year in and year out, you would be selling him way to low for Billy Butler! Cano is also a very consistent player and is a future batting champion (he came v close last year). Overall NO!
