Chipper Jones might sit out Saturday due to pain in his right knee.
No, that's not the one that he had surgically-repaired. "I've got some pain in the lower inside of my knee that is preventing me from pushing off and cutting and stuff like that," Jones said. "It's just a really sharp pain. I don't know why it's doing it. But it's been doing it for the past 10 days or so. I don't know if it was the cold, but it was really pronounced tonight." Jones' production has dipped a bit over the past week or so, and now we may know why. It's definitely something to keep a close eye on.
He's been hitting really well, like the mid-nineties Chipper, but I think we all know it is just a matter of time before the first injury. It looks like that time is now...
