It didn't seem like a big issue from what I saw. But I guess if he left it must have been more serious than it looked.
Hopefully Lowrie can fill in a couple days at 3B and get that eligibility
Pedroia also slid awkwardly into second base on a steal. Looked like he tweaked that bad ankle from last year. Stayed in the game though.

He got owned by big bad 15 year old looking Chatwood and decided it wasn't worth playing anymore and taking the BA hit so he sat the rest of the game out.

did the broadcasters ever mention the severity of the injury?

X-rays were negative. Day-to-day with a bruised shin.

Kevin is a utter monster. I am trying to buy low on him in all my leagues. I missed out on him in every league :(
