My offense is stacked and I need pitching...
Should I trade Nelson Cruz and Russell Martin for Dan Haren?
*note I would also pick up one of these free agents...Ryan Roberts, Seth Smith, Michael Brantley, Randy Wolf

I'm with Hootie. I have a mancrush on Cruz though. Your OF has some questions and buying Haren now would be a big time buy high.

I'd probably either stick with what you have or target a better pitcher. Haren is at his most expensive right now, so for the same price you can probably get a pitcher who will do more for you down the stretch

I agree with the "buying high on Haren" comments. Keep in mind that Haren has pretty bad first and second half splits.
I think you can get a lot better pitcher for someone of Cruz' caliber. If you factor out Cruz's numbers to 162, you'll be at least in the top 25 player range.
