Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I'm wondering if I should trade...
My: Jose Tabata and Adam Dunn
for
His: CarGo
(10 teams, H2H total points league)
On the surface it might seem like a no brainer but my league has very deep rosters and there isn't a whole lot on the waiver wire. The owner is insisting on two bats (starters- not crap obviously) for CarGo. The leading point scorer on the waiver wire is Seth Smith so that should tell you what type of talent is available. Whichever bat I would pick up would slide into the Utl. spot.
The only bench players I have on offense are Jesus Montero and Dustin Ackley (to take over for my weakest position - Chone Figgins). Since the waiver wire is weak, I'm waiting for these two to get called up. Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas are on the waiver wire too.
Another thing is that my team is in first place and I have a good offense. My league is pitching heavy so why mess with something that doesn't need tweaking. But I'm also tired of Dunn's strikeouts.
I fully expect CarGo to outproduce Tabata... but up to this point Tabata has scored more.
Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!!

Yeah if you have very deep roster, having both Tabata and Dunn starting is better than CarGo.
Are there players on your bench? Who would replace Dunn in your lineup if you were to make this deal?

I would either have to replace the spot in the lineup with a garbage waiver wire guy, or I'd have to wait for Jesus Montero, Mike Moustakas, or Eric Hosmer to be called up from the minors.

If that's the case, I would wait to make the trade until a suitable replacement is called up. You don't want to miss out on production.
I would have more faith in a Hosmer/CarGo combo over Tabata/Dunn

I am not sold on CarGo after only one year but I like Tabata, if nothing else down the road, he can at least swipe some bases, and give you some runs.
Help mine please?

I would stick with Dunn/Tabata for the time being
