Trade Away Sandoval/Papelbon for Beltre?

Not sure if I should so this but I am not sure if Sandoval can hold this up all season and if Papelbon is on the decline.

I GET: Beltre

Should I make this move??

I wouldn't...papelbon will get saves as Boston turns it around. I don't think he's going to lose the job this year. I had beltre last year and loved him, but i'm more concerned about him not keeping it up this year. I think you are giving up too much for him.

I wouldn't either.

Last year, Beltre had his 2nd best career year and now he's 32. With the inconsistency he's had in his career its hard to see him repeat last year's numbers, especially hitting above .300 again considering his career BA is .275. You can possibly get 25+ HRs, 85+ RBI, .290 from Beltre at best this year, but with a fit Pablo, I'd say 20+ HRs, 85+ RBI, .300 is definitely not out of the question. I'd say a healthy, motivated Pablo in himself is practically as good as Beltre. Add in Papelbon and it is definitely a no deal.

I wouldn't do it. I have Sandoval and he saved me when Longoria went down (I drafted both and now both are out... ). Especially in that Giants lineup, Sandoval's upside is tremendous. Add Cody Ross in that mix later on, and it's scary. Plus, he dropped a ton of weight, seems to be more disciplined @ the plate and is under 25.

Pap is in a contract year, so expect him to pitch his nuts off.

I would stick with what you have now. I dont see Beltre being that much of an upgrade over Panda.
