Any thoughts? I was targeting Zimmermann going into the draft but he was taken 4 picks ahead of me. I picked up Gordon a couple weeks into the season and he's been great so far, but I've been burned by him twice before. They both have stud upside, but who do you guys think is the more valuable player?

Thanks!

It's pretty hard to see you keeping either of those guys, so I'd focus on what you're getting this year. Right now Gordon doesn't have a spot in your lineup, so it makes sense to trade him for pitching.

I agree with what's said here, you can see your 8 guys and I don't think either Zim or Gord's one of them. Might as well get the pitching help.

help me out?

Thanks guys. I agree with the thought process, but I tend to wheel and deal a bit so not too concerned with whether or not I have 8 keepers already at this point. There are teams that certainly don't have 8 keeper-worthy players, so I'm not worried about being able to get value later on for guys outside of my top 8 (we can trade in the offseason up to the next year's draft as well).

So say we could keep 16 players. Who would you guys say is more valuable on a standalone basis right now?

Appreciate the help as always.
