The Red Sox made the ALCS in 1975, 1986, 1988, 1990. One player played for the Red Sox in each of these four ALCS who was it? BTW it is my all time favorite player :->

At least I think it's Dwight Evans... Jim Rice was gone before Evans left, wasn't he? Yeah, Evans was great - one of my all-time favorites as well (although Yaz always came first in my book).

Just to make sure we are talking about the same guy, this the 9 time gold glove winner, 3 time all star, cannon armed right fielder who wore #24? If thats who you mean then yes thats him. Yaz would rate a very close second in my list of favorites. I was a Sox fan even after I moved to Washington in 82, I got so mad at the sox for trading Dewey to the orioles that I became a Mariner fan!
