Trying to make some speculative adds before the rush, but can't afford to keep non-rostered players on my team. I believe that Blanks will come back up before Rizzo gets a shot, but if anyone has some insight on these guys or anyone else, June is just around the corner!
Rumor is the Padres want to get Blanks some more ab's, just to make sure the elbow is okay, and then move him to the minor league outfield before calling him up. Could be another month or two on Blanks.
Thanks wr.
Any TB, SEA, TOR fans/ homers know about the others?
This is a great thread. With so many names having been mentioned in the 15 pages so far, who does everyone think is the top 5 to target in terms of impact THIS SEASON.

I think that with the way Jays 2B/3B are playing (shitty) and feeling (Encarnacion might hit DL again, McDonald's hurt, etc), that Lawrie will be up soon, and to stay.

I agree ... Lawrie will be called up very soon
Rotoworld: Blue Jays placed INF John McDonald on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring. The Jays gave him a few days, but he simply wasn't progressing enough. It's not clear at this point how long he might be out. Mike McCoy was promoted to take his spot on the roster.

the guy I'm keeping an eye on isn't a prospect anymore, but he is KILLING in the minors.. 44 G/ 165 AB - .358 AVG/ .437 OBP/ .721 SLG/ 1.158 OPS/ 16 HR, 46 RBI he is an OF in the minors for the Diamondbacks. name people have known from the past. Wily Mo Pena.
I imagine right now there really isn't an opening? Upton/Young would be regular starters. does LF go between Parra and Roberts, who can play different positions. it would be great if Pena could come up and get a real chance to play every day in LF.

Lawrie will be up very soon. This was just a little too early for the cutoff to take place.
