Closer/ Starter trade

I was just offered an odd trade but i'm leaning toward doing it. I would get
Papelbon
Hanrahan
AJ Burnett

I give up

Kimbrel
FRod
Kennedy

12 team 5x5 keeper mixed.
I"m leaning toward doing because Paps in very secure in Boston, Hannrahan is in Pittsburgh
and Burnett plays for a winning team with an outstanding bullpen. Plus I might be able to turn Paps into Rivera. Thoughts?

As I said I was leaning toward taking the offer.I'm not big on Burnet but I do see him as an upgrade over Kennedy. At least the yankees will score runs for him. But i'm going to see if I can get him to include Rasmus for my Snider. He had asked for snider from me in a nother trade we talked about. Worth asking. If not I will accept as it is. Thanks guys

Yea. Pull the trigger on that one. Not a fan of Burnett either but hes pretty popular right now and if you didnt want to keep him he'd be easy to hand off. Hopefully the Red Sox start to win and give Paps some save opportunities.

I might be in the minority but I do not like this trade.

Hanrahan might be secure in Pittsburgh, but the guy has half a year's experience closing.

Kimbrel looks like an elite closer right now, and Francisco Rodriquez is as steady as they come.

Papelbon and F-Rod seems like a wash to me, and I like Kimbrel over Hanrahan.

AJ Burnett is not much of a factor IMO. The guy is not a very good pitcher in the AL. He has won more than 13 games ONE time in his career, will not post an ERA under 4.00, and is a WHIP killer.

Keep the replies coming I want to hear both sides. I sent the other owner a note saying I would include Snider if he included Rasmus. I have Eric aybar coming of the DL tomorrow so I told him I would include him for Infante. I amd keeping Aybars replcement in M Izturiz. he is smoking hot . I also have Lowrie along with Hanley in the middle. If he says not I may just drop Snider and keep Aybar. I think Snider might be a years or s away still. If he says yes I would drop Infante.

Hmm...what makes this one so tough is that Pap is in a final year, so he'll prolly pitch his left nut off.

Burnett started hot, but who knows @ this point. He looks so good from innings 1-5.2. Then he has a meltdown. I like his K-inning ratios. Everything else, not so much.

Hanrahan looks like he'll have save opps after all.

On the flip side, Kimbel is a stud. He and Venters will probably interchange during the year, but it's Kimbrel's job to lose.

F-Rod won't have as many save opps, but Jason Bay will hopefully figure things out and get that lineup hitting.

Just got a note back from the other owner. He won't include Rasmus for my Snider.He says his offer is fair as it is. I am also thinking I can spin Papelbon for Rivera to a Red Sox lover.
So I would end up with Rivera, haranahan and Burnett for Kimbrel, Frod and Kennedy.
