(From Rotoworld) Tony Womack got the start at second base for St. Louis today and went 1-for-3.
The Cardinals decided not to wait for their doctor's approval before using Womack in the field. It appears that the team is leaning toward using him regularly at second base and in the leadoff spot,
which would be great news for the Cubs and Astros. (bolding mine)
