Just got a trade offer...
my Pineda
for
his Liriano
This a 10 team keeper league with H2H scoring. I'm leaning towards a decline since it's a keeper league and Pineda hasn't had a bad start yet. Liriano needs to show something before I'd consider doing this, right?

I would hold onto Pineda even though it is not a bad trade, but being a keeper league and that Liriano has blown it up this season so far, I would hold onto Pineda, but I like the Mariners, second to my Cubs though. hehe
help me if you can

Depends on whether you think Liriano's going to turn the corner. Personally, I think he's hiding a shoulder injury and is going to miss some time on the DL.
Is there a different pitcher on his team you could counter for?

I'd rather roll the dice on Pineda than Liriano

Tough decision here. Pineda has shown great stuff, but he is still a rookie and plays for the worst team in baseball. Although Liriano has disappointed, I see him as a great buy low candidate. He has the stuff to be one of the elites. I take my chances on him.

I'd go get Liriano. I do like Pineda, but this is your classic buy low deal, and you'll be looking back at this deal in the summer smiling...

I foresee a difference of opinions on this. Both players have their merits.
For me, I would rather take 75%-80 of the season with Pineda.... even if Liriano can go a little further. I understand the wins and more innings.... I think there will be less peaks and valleys despite Pineda`s age.
Help out a Cafe Brother? Get Lester?
