I think my teams biggest need is probably pitching, which he has alot of. I don't particularly need an OF, but I don't really need Tex as a 1B either. What are your thoughts/ possible counters?

I would not do that, even though Hamilton will be good after the AS break...If I were you, I would try something like Rasmus and Verlander for TEx or Rasmus and Kershaw for Tex and some mediocre SP...I just dont trust Hamilton, as he never plays a full season
Kinda sounds like a lowball offer even though Hamilton is solid when healthy and Cahill has a good season last yr. I like the idea of Rasmus and Kershaw, but I doubt with an offer like that he is interested in not getting rid of Hamilton
I wouldn't do this either. Hamilton is unlikely to come back from this injury at 100%. Everything I have heard, says that even once healed it will take sometime to get his shoulder back to full strength.
If you need pitching, then look to make a deal for a pitcher. Kershaw or Verlander at the very least.

I wouldn't do it. Don't trade away Tex just because you "don't need him as a 1B." He's a first round pick because he puts up awesome numbers. The team you're trading to doesn't need him as a 1B either. Try to move some other pieces for a SS upgrade.
