I don't think Dempster is worth that trade ( I'm probably saying that because of how he's looked lately). It's really up to you though; you have enough depth at 2B (with Utley and Figgins) and SP to make either decision.

I definitely disagree with your perceived depth. Figgins has looked abysmal at the dish this year, and he wasn't overly productive last year outside of the bases he stole. I have zero faith in Utley's knee right now. With that being said, I'm going to hang onto Roberts for this one. Dempster is a solid pitcher, but given that your league is shallow, Dempster's tendency to walk batters, and the offense behind him, I'm not sure he'll be overly valuable. There might be comparable pitchers on the waiver wire that you could pick up if you wanted, assuming you're willing to sacrifice a few strike outs.

At this point, IMO, you're dealing away your starting 2B for a pitcher who would be the 7th best guy on your staff
