I've offered him Braun and Reyes, and I get Crawford and Hanley in return. Before the season started, I would have jumped at that deal. So why is now that I am afraid that he will accept?

He has also offered I give Braun, I get Crawford, Vlad Guerrero and Clay Bucholtz.

What is the best deal here? Or should I just stand pat?

I like the first deal for you (Braun and Reyes for Crawford and Hanley). Gotta have faith that Crawford will get it together. Like you said, before the season this is a no brainer.

Which deal is not even close? I swear, it seems like more and more people are just reading the headlines on these posts, and not bothering to read anything else. I know that makes me sound like I'm ungrateful, but after posting dilgently on this board for more than five years, I've noticed a lot more of that lately!

This is why I said go for it. You have to truly have no faith in Crawford turning this thing around to think Reyes > Crawford
