Someone is shopping Carl Crawford around. He asked for a straight swap, Crawford for my Ryan Braun, and I turned him down. I am thinking about counetring with:
I get Carl Crawford
I give Cole Hamels and Andre Either
Am I giving too much?

I think you're giving too much, but I have never been high on Crawford to begin with. He's only 3rd or 4th round value and if he keeps it up, he might fall further. Crawford owners right now are still wanting too much for him, unless you find someone that is running scared and ready to deal I would stay away. Just my opinion though. I'd buy him if you are dealing him someone who is over-performing only... Nelson Cruz or if the other owner is off their rocker, an Alex Gordon.
This is tough. I like Crawford and I think he will figure things out and still be a very good player come end of the season. But you are giving up some depth at SP which I think will hurt you more than adding Crawford.

I have to agree. I am sure that Crawford will turn it around and be fine. But Ethier is no slouch either and losing Hamels would really leave you thin at pitching. I don't think it helps your team overall.
Too much imo - Crawford is a guy that always goes top 2 rounds (had him last year) - and i'd always say he is overvalued but his numbers translate well into roto.
Either is a nice player to own and Hamels is going to get you 170 K's and 16 or so wins --
I would also say this is too much to give. Depending on how frustrated the guy is, I would try and maybe give him Chacin and Ethier. It depends what kind of person this guy is, but he may jump on the prospect of getting a hot Chacin (who will come down soon). Crawford will end up very solid this year and if you can get him at a good price now, you should.
I think you are giving too much. Your outfield would definitely be pretty spectacular, but your pitching would take a big hit. I'd either offer a lower tier pitcher maybe chacin or zimmerman, or go with hamels and possibly try and get a pitcher back in return.
