I originally though Uribe and Izturis would be good replacement level players, but they are doing nothing at the moment, and since they are replacement level players I am not too attached. Freese was just dropped and Lowrie hasn't been picked up. I originally thought Lowrie would be a great mid yr pickup as he has the tools and surroundings to put up some gaudy numbers, but it looks like he is earning his fair share of AB now. Freese is playing really well, better than any of my other substitute players at 3B, where I need someone to fill in for Zimmerman. Should I drop those 2 and pick these guys up?

100% yes
I like both of those two over Uribe/Izturis. Young, upside... I just grabbed Lowrie in my league and I only wish it was a day sooner because he was 4-5 today with a hr and 4 rbis.... he'll hit really well in that lineup and force Tito's hand I think.
quick help again?

I agree with this. Lowrie is going to force his way into the lineup.

Hey Trippy, I'm in the same boat...actually we share similar teams. However if I want to pick up Lowrie, then I'd have to drop Desmond or Aaron Hill. My gut says to drop Desmond because the offense around him isnt as good and he doesnt have the power numbers Hill can put up. Does anyone think I should drop one of them for Lowrie. It's a 12 team, mixed Roto league, with NO bench. You play you're entire roster every day baring a stint on the DL. Also, its 3 bucks a pick-up so I'd like to be sure I'm going into this making a pretty confident decision.
My Team:
C: Russel Martin
1st: Adam Dunn
2nd: Aaron Hill
SS: Elvis Andrus
3rd: Maicer Izturis
MI: Ian Desmond
CI: Billy Butler
OF: Ryan Braun
OF: Jose Bautista
OF: Drew Stubbs
OF: Alex Gordon
OF: Ryan Raburn
DL: Zimmerman
Any thoughts/help is much appreciated.

Drop Hill now......... If lowrie stays healthy and in the line up he will trump his numbers.
