Buy low on Crawford?

Postby mak1277 » Mon Apr 18, 2011 9:37 am

12-team, 5x5 with TB and OPS instead of HR and Avg.

I give: Pedroia, Bruce
I get: Crawford, McGehee

My team:
c - Posey
1b - A. Gonz.
2b - Pedroia (Neil Walker takes over if I make the trade)
3b - Alvarez/Chipper (McGehee if I make the trade)
ss - Al. Ramirez
OF - McCutchen
OF - Pence
OF - Bruce

Thoughts? Leave a link and I'll help with yours.

If you can get it done, then yes. It might be tough to pull Crawford away but buying low would be a good thought.

It's an OK deal for you, but, I don't know if it's as clear as the other posts think. I'd try and get someone a little better than McGehee if you can. Bruce has a lot of upside.

I like it ... Pedroia is pretty awesome, but you upgrade at 3B bc Chipper could get hurt and Alvarez is still raw, and you upgrade your speed. Losing Bruce is tough, but you still get the best player in the deal.

Do it. Crawford and McGehee are both buy low. Off to a bad start but both are great players, I think it's a no brainer
