Kemp/Bruce trade?

I know I have no real use for this trade but I think I get real good value.

I get Kemp/Ethier

I give Bruce/McGehee/Lewis.

The trepidation I have is that McGehee is my only backup infielder, I will be left with a glutten of outfielders, and I really weaken my pitching staff.

I do like getting Kemp and down the line I could probably move Victorino or another outfielder for a pitcher. I also make room for Sizemore to come off the D/L.

I like this deal for you......Altho Bruce looks to bust out this season. Kemp is well on his way to equaling his totals from 2 seasons ago.

No. He didn't want to go through with it. He is changing the deal. He wants Wright/Bruce/Lewis for Zimmerman/Kemp/Ethier.

id still do it even with his counter, wright and zimmerman are equal talents, and thats when wright is 100% healthy, ur clearly getting the best player in kemp, and ethier is not a bad throw in

I agree and would make the deal, then try to shop my OFs around for pitching like you said. Take the overall value first, and then trade for what you need.
