I am giving this show until the end of the season, but I'm probably done after that.
They are dragging this and it's not really compelling. I think everyone and their mother knew what was going to happen with Bennett and his eventual role in the thing.
Also, I despise the mother and the guy cop, so it's really pointless.

I thought the show took a 2 episode poop, but then rebounded nicely with the most recent episode..

I don't know what the plans are, but it seems like the way the show is set up, they would start fresh every year rather than carry people over since everything is centered around a single event and it's not your typical procedural.
I actually like the way it drags out. I think it makes me appreciate the characters more rather than personalities and motivations being simple and immediately revealed like in most crime shows.

yeah i like that it's not a one and done episode, but it does seem like it's dragging on too long...hopefully the last few episodes are more exciting
