Team Any Good?

Postby MetsFan4689 » Sun Apr 17, 2011 3:36 pm

C. G. Soto
1B. M. Cabrera
2B. N. Walker
SS. J. Reyes
3B. C. McGehee
OF. V. Wells
OF. J. Werth
OF. A. Gordon
UT. I. Kinsler
UT. D. Ortiz
BN. G. Sizemore
BN J. Gomes
BN C. Jones

SP. D. Price
SP. F. Liriano
SP. C. Buchholtz
SP. J. Chacin
SP. R. Nolasco
RP. J. Hanarhan
RP. J. Whalen
BN. J. Cueto

I feel that my outfield is pretty weak, at the moment. My starting pitching I thought would be a strong point, but aside from Chacin, they have been struggling or under performing.

What do you think? Thanks!

I have no idea why you are playing wells when you have Gomes, who's 6/14 already vs 0/2 wells???

OF is very, very deep, and wreth is getting old, I say dump him too and grab Brantley, flud, or Morrison. Feel free to move chipper for lowrie as well.

Also your SP do need some work,

SP. D. Price <----- He won't be starting the AL all star game this year, which we mostly already knew.
SP. F. Liriano <--- I just stay away.
SP. C. Buchholtz <--- Wait till his next outing, assuming it's good trade high. A lot of last year was smoke and mirrors. Strong pitcher, ace? no.
SP. J. Chacin
SP. R. Nolasco <--- dump

Pitching is always deep, there should be no issues replacing your SP staff.

I picked up Gomes two days ago, and he was on my bench since rosters are locked for the whole week.

Yeah, I hate that rule. I wish they never gave the option. Id drop Cueto and Bucholtz ASAP. Like Timaxman said, pitching is ALWAYS deep, and Im sure theres a ton of good pitchers that are open.
