First Fantasy Baseball Season

This was an auction league with keepers. My two keepers that I selected after inheriting the team from someone else were: Hanley Ramirez and Prince Fielder.

These are my players after the draft and after a few pick-ups:
Matt Wieters
(Bal - C)

Prince Fielder
(Mil - 1B)

Neil Walker
(Pit - 2B,3B)

Mark Reynolds
(Bal - 3B)

Hanley Ramírez
(Fla - SS)

Logan Morrison
(Fla - LF)

Chris Young
(Ari - CF)

Ichiro Suzuki
(Sea - RF)

Jay Bruce
(Cin - RF)

Willie Bloomquist
(Ari - 3B,SS,LF,CF,RF)

Martín Prado
(Atl - 2B,3B,LF)

Bobby Abreu
(LAA - LF,RF)

Carlos Lee
(Hou - 1B,LF)

Corey Hart
(Mil - RF) DL

Pitchers
Hiroki Kuroda
(LAD - SP)

Chad Billingsley
(LAD - SP)

Tim Hudson
(Atl - SP)

Matt Cain
(SF - SP)

Roy Oswalt
(Phi - SP)

Mariano Rivera
(NYY - RP)

José Valverde
(Det - RP)

John Axford
(Mil - RP)

Huston Street
(Col - RP)

Max Scherzer
(Det - SP)

R.A. Dickey
(NYM - SP)

Kyle Lohse
(StL - SP)

I'm looking to pick-up a few more pitchers in an attempt to inflate my pitching but I'm not sure who to drop or if I should drop anyone. I was considering getting rid of Carlos Lee and Bobby Abreu for pitchers or something but no one in my league wants to trade. In the first week, I finished 7-7 against the other guy.

You didn't give us much to go on, ala what scoring your league uses, what stats ect, however if anything you will want to trip your pitching down a bit and get some bats. your weaknesses in your lineup are:

Mark Reynolds (loves to go the way of the k)
Willie Bloomquist (losing at bats at a weekly basis now)
Carlos Lee (old, getting older)

also prado is looking pretty bad so far and is a red flag.

Your saves should be fine with the 4 you have, and I suggest getting rid of dickey and loche, their good outings won't help enough in the long run for their bad.

Cheap bats on the market:
Orlando Cabrera, Cle SS, 2B
Wilson Betemit, KC 3B
Jed Lowrie, Bos SS, 2B
Michael Brantley, Cle OF
Sam Fuld, TB OF
Travis Hafner, Cle DH

While you didn't explain what your team lost to stat wise these are some great cheap everyday players.

These are the stats that my league goes by:
R
HR
RBI
SB
BB
K
AVG
W
L
SV
K
HLD
ERA
WHIP

I just traded Bobby Abreu for Zach Britton.

Seems like a very odd trade for me. Britton is an unproven young starter, who got shelled his last game out, and he is pitching in the toughest division in baseball, with a mediocre defense. Abreu was not an issue in your line up, and while he may not be the best hitter out there, players like Reynolds are killing you. You should really focus on some adjustments to your line up before you go and get pitchers, don't ignore the free agent market, you can get much better value than with trading, at least in a situation like this.
