Drop a SP for Farnsworth or Fuentes

Postby ob187 » Fri Apr 15, 2011 2:16 pm

Should I pickup another RP. I only have two with Andrew Bailey on the DL:

If so, which SP should I drop:

Pitching: ERA(5th), K(6th), S(5th), W(7th), WHIP(7th)
SP- Kyle Drabek, Gavin Floyd, Tommy Hanson, Ted Lilly, Derek Lowe, Shaun Marcum, Travis Wood

RP- Jonathan Broxton, Joe Nathan

I'm not sure that I would feel comfortable dropping any of those guys. Depending on how many teams are in your league, etc. I thiink any of those pitchers would get picked up right away and benefit another team in your league. Fuentes has been a stud so far, but he will be pretty much worthless when Bailey comes back. And I think McGee will end up as the closer in TB. So, either one is defnietely a temporary option, whereas the SPs will benefit you all year... If I absolutely had to pick one to get rid of, it would probably be Drabek.

True, all of my SP are pretty solid, but its tough to play only 2 RP.

I have Andrew Bailey on my DL so I could pick up Fuentes and drop him when Bailey comes back
