Giants GM Brian Sabean said yesterday that Robb Nen almost certainly will begin the season on the disabled list.

Nen still hasn't resumed throwing off the mound since last week's setback. He is throwing off flat ground, but it appears that he'll miss at least the first week of the season. Matt Herges will fill in as San Francisco's closer.

Here's to a save or two from Herges hopefully the first week
