Should I Make a Move for Tulo?

Postby JRM4833 » Fri Apr 15, 2011 10:50 am

The owner in my keeper points league that has Tulo has put him on the block and is looking for another keeper in return (I'm not sure why). Does it make sense for me to make a move for him? I can't think of a way to make an offer that works for both teams. Plus, do I even need him? Castro is playing great so far. I may just be panicking a bit due to being 0-1 with a chance of going to 0-2 this week (currently losing).

Edit: We start 4 OFs, a DH, and two add'l IFs of our choice (but capped a 2 of any particular position). On the pitching end, we start 4 SPs and 3 RPs.

My team:

C: Santana, Arencibia
1B: Huff, Moreland, Belt, Ka'aihue, Trumbo
2B: Cano
3B: Longoria (DL), Izturis
SS: Castro, Hardy (DL)
OF: Kemp, McCutchen, Pence, Snider, Venable, Bloomquist
SP: Latos, Hanson, Cain, Cahill, Romero, Hellickson, Lilly, Bedard
RP: Putz, Storen, Kuo, Bailey (DL)

His team:

C: Molina, Suzuki
1B: Pena, Pujols
2B: Uggla
3B: Beltre, Stewart
SS: Tulo, Pennington
OF: Byrd, Gardner, Granderson, Ad. Jones, Vlad, Mags, Gomes, Young, Hart
SP: Carp, Hamels, Hughes, Zambrano, Westbrook, Britton
RP: Cordero, Madson, Uehara, McGee, Jenks

What do you think?

It is too early to panic, it is not even May yet. 0-2, seriously it doesnt matter as long as you make the playoffs by the end of the year (which is 5 months away). IF you want to make a move, use Kemp, his OF is terrible and its the only thing that makes sense to me. Yes, Castro is playing great for a SS, but Tulo is one of the best producers in baseball, and has shown consistency while healthy.

Help with mine?
