Add Narveson? Who to drop?

Do you think that Narveson is worth adding on my H2H team? If so, is he worth dropping any of my current pitchers?

Depending on the stats in your league (i.e. do you have holds) I think you have too many RP's.

So I would def add Narveson & drop maybe Rauch or Storen as you are pretty set with Marmol,Putz, Bailey coming back soon imo

You are getting Ip, SO,W,ERA,K's, Whip in much greater quantity with a SP vs. Too many Rp's

No there are no holds in my league, but I am very hesitant to drop Rauch because he is doing very well as the current closer while Frank Francisco is doing horrible during his rehab assignment.

Not sure how long Narveson can stay hot but he is a very hot commodity right now. I owned him and had SP depth so I was able to get Walden for Narveson straight up (non keeper H2H 12 Team Yahoo). I needed closer help.

I understand the Toronto situation but you are stocked on RP's and Narveson could bring something desirable in a trade in the next week or two for you.

Starting P's bring much more value to the table unless I'm missing something. Storen may not be closing until the 2nd half of the year and if Burnett stays steady he may not close at all??

Not trying to sway you and curious if others have an opinion on SP vs RP??

I mean I will eventually have to drop a RP anyway after Bailey comes off the DL. But if I had to choose, it would probably be Brandon League. And while you raised some very good points, I am not sure that starting pitchers are a more efficient way of lowering WHIP. A lot of these closers were chosen to do so for two reasons, they can induce strikeouts frequently while only walking occasionally.

I guess I'll see how Narveson pitches tomorrow, and if all goes good i'll consider dropping League.
