Carlos Beltran's value? WHIR

I was offered Craig Kimbrel for Carlos Beltran. He needs an OF, I need saves. Should I go for it?

listen, it depends on the league size, but in my ten team mixed, I have Beltran and am considering dropping him. In a shallow league, I don't think you'll have much problem replacing his production off the FA market, plus he's going to be babied by the Mets and rest a lot. I would make that move, but again, it depends on the league.

Thanks for the advice. It's a 12-team very active league; so, closers are hard to come by. Plus, I have Hart coming off the DL soon, and agree that Beltran's inconsistent playing time is frustrating. Should I go ahead and do it?

Yeah I would go ahead and make the trade especially since you have Hart coming back soon to replace Beltran's production.

Thx for the help on mine. Absolutely make this trade. Beltran is washed up, Kimbrel is dominating. I wouldnt have drafted Beltran at all, I would spend a middle round draft pick on Kimbrel as a #1 or #2 closer in hindsight

Hells yes. Kimbrel has real potential as a top-ten closer, and he'll get plenty of chances. Beltran is at the end of a good career... there are similar numbers all over the wire. Make the deal fast.

I would take this without hesitation. Kimbrel has nasty stuff closing for a top team, potential top closer.
