It is too early to take a risk like that, but another week or two and Narveson and Oganda will likely be gone from waivers. This is the type of bold move that wins fantasy leagues. Think Jamie Garcia or Matt Latos last season. Lilly would be the guy I'd consider dropping first.
There is no right answer, it is up to how much of a gamble you can stomach

I think it is way too early to drop Wandy or Lilly. These guys have the stuff to at least second tier pitchers, and its APRIL. A lot of pitchers, if not most, have slow Aprils while adjusting to pitching again and the weather warming up. Wait for a month and see. BTW, Burnett is never going to get you as much as either of those pitchers you have, and the rookies here are a shot in the dark, most of the rookie pitchers wont make it through the season. Santana is the only one I would go for from this list, but Id like to see more from him. If you would have said Beachy or Britton I would have leaned more to dropping someone, and of those 2 ou have I would drop Wandy.
help with mine?http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=427341
I dropped Lilly and Wandy already. I don't think they will improve enough to help anyone's team. They may be consistent....but why not go for a guy that can get a few more wins and strikeouts? A guy like Travis Wood, Michael Pineda, even Britton would provide better options.
Yeah hang out for a bit man, 2 3 starts isn't enough to get a trend started. If I had to make a move on any of those right now I'd put either Wandy or Lilly down, and grab up Burnett while he's still sane or E Santana then maybe Narveson...
I guess there was no curse... Boston just sucked for 86 years...
thanks for the replies. i might hold for another start from each and see... if it makes a difference my other pitchers are: Sabathia Carpenter Hamels Liriano Chacin Axford Rivera
