He hasn't hit for much power the last couple of years but he's going to surprise some people this year.
'08 he played in Jupiter which is one of the worst hitting parks in the minors in a pitchers league. '09 he suffered the much feared hand injury '10 he spent half the season in the majors and I'm not going to knock a rookie for only having mediocre power numbers - 2 HR's but 29 XBH in 244 AB's
This guy simply knows how to get on base (0.400 + obp in the minors). If you like gaby sanchez last year, you should love this guy. morrison is supposed to have the higher ceiling between the two. plus morrison was entrusted with the 3 hole when hanley was out. The power will come, its time to make that add!
I like him alot, very reminiscent of Billy Butler (who was also tried as a corner OF). He was drafted in all of my leagues and he's definitely worth owning.

Yeah I also have a tough time endorsing a guy to jump from 2 HR in 244 AB to 25 in a full season. Just don't see it happening.
Don't have my copy at work but IIRC Shandler's Forecaster had Morrison down for a pretty big Px (Shandler's proprietary power statistic). I don't know about an exact number, but I'm expecting closer to 25 than 5.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.
